Since it was first announced that the tournament would be in Qatar, the 2022 World Cup has always seemed as if it were decades away.
However, it is now just four years until the eyes on the world fall on this small Middle Eastern nation, and when Russia 2018 is all done and dusted focus will turn solely to Qatar.
Plans have now been finalised for the stadiums which will play host to the planet’s best footballers in four years’ time… and they admittedly look incredible.

One venue, the Khalifa International Stadium, is already opened.
