Man Utd fans have been given reason to get excited after a video emerged of Jadon Sancho trying to be convinced over a move to Old Trafford.

The video below was posted by Link Up TV presenter Harry Pinero, while Dave the rapper was also mentioned with the video being shared on Twitter by various United fan accounts.

SEE MORE: Manchester United offered chance to beat Manchester City to transfer of €85m target

It shows the Borussia Dortmund star enjoying himself while on his break from football before pre-season gets underway, before it’s noted that they’re trying to convince the England starlet to move back to Manchester, but this time to join up with United.

As noted by The Sun, the Red Devils has been linked with a swoop for the 19-year-old for some time, although he is said to be valued at £70m and so it remains to be seen if they are willing to splash out such a huge fee for him.

There doesn’t seem to be a great deal of doubt among the supporters though based on the reaction to the video below, and the overriding response was ultimately one of excitement over the possibility of Sancho joining the club.

Given he’s coming off the back of a stellar campaign in the Bundesliga, there is real intrigue over how far Sancho can go and he’s being tipped for a very bright future for club and country moving forward.

This video certainly won’t stop the speculation, as he didn’t appear to do much in the way of dismissing the suggestion of a possible switch to Man Utd either…

Confirmed: Chelsea complete deal for summer signing in touted £40m move.

Confirmed: Chelsea complete deal for summer signing in touted £40m move

CHELSEA FC

By Kelvin

Chelsea have officially announced that they’ve signed Mateo Kovacic on a permanent basis after spending last season on loan from Real Madrid.

As noted by BBC Sport, it’s suggested that the deal will cost the Blues £40m, and while question marks will be raised given their transfer ban this summer, they have been able to work around it in this instance.

It’s added in that report that they didn’t need to re-register Kovacic as their player given his loan spell last season, although it’s assumed that the agreement to sign him outright was done before June 30, as per the report’s suggestion that it was necessary to circumvent UEFA’s ruling.

The 25-year-old didn’t have the most decisive of seasons last year, as he managed no goals and just two assists in 51 appearances for Chelsea, with former boss Maurizio Sarri evidently relying on him heavily.

Following his departure for Juventus last month, that would have perhaps raised further doubts on Kovacic’s future, but ultimately with the transfer ban in mind, perhaps Chelsea felt as though they had no option but to keep the Croatian international on to ensure that they have enough next season to compete across multiple fronts.

As per the club’s official site, Kovacic has signed a five-year contract with the Premier League giants, while it remains to be seen if Frank Lampard had an influence on matters as BBC Sport note that he continues to be heavily linked with a return to Stamford Bridge this summer to be named as Sarri’s successor.

The 41-year-old will surely have had a say if he is set to get the job, as he will want to keep or sell players who suit his plans and ideas moving forward.

Got a ban but we’ll spend more than Arsenal’ – These Chelsea fans troll rivals after Kovacic announcement

Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Mateo Kovacic from Real Madrid on a permanent basis, and their fans were delighted with the news.

As noted by BBC Sport, it is believed that the deal will cost the Blues a £40m fee as they are able to circumvent UEFA’s transfer ban given that the Croatian international was on loan with them last season.

It has been suggested that Arsenal may only have around £40m to spend in the summer transfer window in total, as per the Mirror, and so some Chelsea fans, as seen in the tweets below, couldn’t help but troll their rivals after the deal was confirmed on Monday.

Others called for Frank Lampard’s return to be announced as the Derby County boss is being heavily linked with being appointed Maurizio Sarri’s successor this summer, as per BBC Sport, while others lauded the move for Kovacic as he could prove to be a vital figure next season and beyond.

Although the former Inter and Real Madrid star didn’t have a decisive impact last year, he was a crucial presence in the squad to help them compete on multiple fronts.

With an inability to add further reinforcements this summer, it’s arguably a sensible decision from Chelsea to make his move a permanent one, and it seems as though many fans are delighted that the club have found a way to make a signing despite the ban.

In addition, they were particularly keen to make a point of the fact that they’re still making moves while the wait goes on for Arsenal and Spurs to strengthen.

Bid made: Arsenal fall well short of £80m valuation for top target as pursuit ‘getting ugly’ says journalist

Bid made: Arsenal fall well short of £80m valuation for top target as pursuit ‘getting ugly’ says journalist

ARSENAL FC

Posted by Kelvin

Arsenal have reportedly made a £40m offer for Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha, which is nowhere near his touted price-tag this summer.

The Gunners are coming off the back of a disappointing campaign in which they failed to break back into the top four in the Premier League and fell short in the Europa League final to be left trophyless.

With that in mind, Unai Emery will be desperate to see reinforcements arrive this summer to bolster his squad and give them a better chance next season, but ultimately it could prove to be very difficult to bring in his top target.

According to The Sun, Arsenal have made a £40m offer for Zaha, but with Crystal Palace said to be valuing the 26-year-old at closer to £80m, that is significantly short of being enough to convince them to sell regardless of his reported desire to make the move to the Emirates.

It’s noted that Arsenal are said to only have around £45m to spend this summer, and so it’s certainly difficult to see how they will be able to match Palace’s demands.

Meanwhile, highly respected BBC Sport journalist David Ornstein has delivered a bit more insight into the matter and has revealed that Arsenal’s pursuit of Zaha is ‘getting predictably ugly’ while no players have been offered as part of a swap deal, as per his tweet below.

As per @SkyKaveh Arsenal have submitted opening bid for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha. No players offered yet as part of proposed deal. Will be rejected & is getting predictably ugly. As previously reported Zaha wants to join #AFC & Emery wants him but #CPFC want huge money

— David Ornstein (@bbcsport_david) July 1, 2019

In turn, it remains to be see how the situation plays out as although there is still a long way to go this summer, the Gunners have decisions to make as they won’t want to waste time chasing Zaha if a deal isn’t likely while spending their entire reported budget on one player doesn’t sound like a smart move either.

Especially after their porous defence let in 51 goals in 38 Premier League games last season, giving them the second worst defensive record of the top nine sides, there is a need to strengthen elsewhere too besides with Zaha.

Liverpool have reportedly made a £54million bid for Sporting Lisbon attacking midfielder Bruno Fernandes.

The Reds have long been linked with the Portugal international after his tremendous record of 28 goals and 14 assists in the 2018/19 season, and it looks like he may finally be closer to completing a move to Anfield.

Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham have also all been linked with Fernandes, but it seems Liverpool have always been in the driving seat for the deal.

As explained in a detailed account from a reliable source below, it’s claimed Liverpool were set to bid £54m for the 24-year-old yesterday evening, and that that offer would be accepted.

Have a few final updates on Bruno Fernandes. Before I begin I want to apologise for getting some of my information wrong. One of the most bizarre transfer stories in recent memory in a lot of ways. Misjudged the timing of the deal.

— JurgenHead (@JurgenHead) June 30, 2019

This has now passed and it’s expected that Fernandes himself will now finalise his contract and complete the move after he returns from holiday.

This latest report also follows the player himself hinting to a fan that he’d choose LFC this summer and that he was hopeful of the deal being done.

It remains to be seen precisely how reliable this Twitter user is, but the level of detail in his report suggests he must know something and have contacts with a good understanding of the situation.

Zinedine Zidane plotting six-man Real Madrid exodus to bring in €155m+

REAL MADRID CF

Posted by Kelvin one hour ago

Real Madrid have been busy splashing out on rebuilding their squad this summer, but it could now be followed by player sales to balance the books.

The Spanish giants have already confirmed the signings of Luka Jovic, Eden Hazard, Ferland Mendy and Eder Militao this summer, with Zinedine Zidane looking to oversee an overhaul at the Bernabeu after their bitterly disappointing campaign last time out.

Having ended the season empty-handed, Los Blancos will be desperate to avoid a repeat next year, and so it’s not come as a surprise to see them spend big on bringing in reinforcements.

However, whether it’s to balance the books or to bring in more cash to give to Zidane to continue his spending, the latest reports suggest that there will be exits coming too.

According to Mundo Deportivo, six names are in line to move on, with one of the touted deals having been officially confirmed already after Mateo Kovacic’s permanent move to Chelsea was completed.

That deal alone is said to have brought in €50m for Real Madrid, as per the report above, while Raul de Tomas, James Rodriguez, Theo Hernandez, Borja Mayoral and Martin Odegaard are all being tipped to follow him out of the exit door to bring in over €155m in total.

Time will tell if those deals go through as planned and if the numbers are accurate, but it would certainly be a masterstroke from the club if they do as those are all players surplus to requirements in the Spanish capital and so it would make a huge amount of sense to offload and cash in where possible.

With the signings that have already been made alone, Real Madrid look to be in a much stronger position already to compete next season, but with the backing of more spending power from these sales, they could yet get even stronger.

Atletico Madrid are said to have put in a €25M transfer offer for Barcelona and Portugal defender Nelson Semedo, a player who’s had a mixed time with Barca thus far.

Semedo has been in and out of the Blaugrana’s starting XI following his move from Benfica in the summer of 2017, with manager Ernesto Valverde opting to start Sergi Roberto over the 25-year-old more often than not.

And it seems like Semedo could be about to call time on his stint at the Nou Camp if this report from Don Balon is anything to go off.

As per the report, Atletico have put in a €25M bid for Semedo, with the player himself open to sealing a move to the Wanda Metropolitano.

Atleti could definitely do with boosting their options at right-back, especially given the fact that Juanfran is now 34 and fast approaching the end of his career.

Atletico have made their move for Barcelona and Portugal star Semedo

Semedo has been decent for Barca since his arrival just under two years ago, with the Portuguese international clocking up a total of 82 appearances for the club in that time frame.

Despite this, Semedo has often found himself starting games from the sidelines due to Valverde’s want to play Roberto over him, and should the 25-year-old have had enough of this, we wouldn’t be surprised to see him leave the Nou Camp this summer and move to Los Rojiblancos.

The former Blues boss will return to coaching in Serie A after being confirmed as the next manager for the Nerazzurri

Inter have confirmed the appointment of Antonio Conte as their new coach following the departure of Luciano Spalletti.

Despite qualifying for the Champions League by finishing fourth in Serie A, Inter announced the dismissal of Spalletti in a short statement on Thursday.

The news came as a surprise to few, as rumours had linked Spalletti with the sack for several weeks with Conte mooted as his potential replacement.

Speculation went into overdrive on Wednesday when a photo of Conte with Inter's media team surfaced on social media, and the club made an announcement early on Friday.

“Determined and ambitious, Antonio Conte is now beginning his Inter adventure," the club statement reads. "Right here before us, we have two entities with the same objective and outlook – that is to win. Head, heart and legs are the three words which sum up Conte’s career.”

The 49-year-old also expressed his excitement at taking over the Serie A side.

"A new chapter in my life is beginning, I'm really excited," Conte said in a statement.

"Through my work, I'll try to repay all of the trust that the president [Steven Zhang] and directors have placed in me. I have chosen Inter because of the club it is, because of the project's sound basis and how ambitious it is. Because of Inter's history.

"I was struck by the club's transparency and the desire to bring Inter back to where it belongs."

A title winner in both Italy and England, Conte will receive a base salary of €10 million (£9m/$11m) for the first two seasons he is in charge.

“I’m sure that Antonio Conte is one of the best coaches out there," Inter president Zhang told the club's website. "I’m certain that he’ll help us achieve our objective and fulfil our mission, one which has always remained the same: to make this club one of the best in the world again.”

The 49-year-old had been out of a job since leaving Chelsea last year, having paid the price for finishing fifth in the Premier League. However, the season before he had led the Blues to a league and FA Cup double.

He returns to Serie A having won the competition three times as coach of Juve, who he left in 2014 to take charge of the national team.

The Nigeria international has not been offered a new deal following the expiry of his contract with the Smoggies

Championship side Middlesbrough have confirmed the departure of John Obi Mikel from the Riverside Stadium.

The Super Eagles captain signed a short-term deal with the Smoggies in January after leaving Chinese Super League side Tianjin Teda.

The 32-year-old impressed during his short stay with the side and made 18 appearances, helping Boro to keep seven clean sheets, and scoring one

Despite the effort of the former Chelsea player, the Smoggies missed out on a place in the play-off by a point after finishing seventh on the table.

Mikel has not been offered a new deal following the expiry of his contract along with three other players.

“Stewart Downing, Dimi Konstantopoulos, Andy Lonergan and John Obi Mikel are set to become free agents this summer," read a statement from the club website.

“The quartet are all out of contract and have not been offered new deals to stay on.

“Mikel and Lonergan joined on short-term deals last season, but Downing and Konstantopoulos are both long-serving players.”

Mikel has been included in Gernot Rohr’s 25-man provisional squad to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, which kicks off on June 21.

Three-time African champions, Nigeria have been drawn in Group B along with Burundi, Guinea and Madagascar.

Lyon president Aulas thanks Chelsea for beating Arsenal

Lyon president Aulas thanks Chelsea for beating Arsenal

After Victory in Baku (woo!), Chelsea are now 2-for-2 in Europa League trophies. Of course, ideally, we would never have to care about the Europa League, and just constantly live our best Champions League lives, but if we’re saddled with the secondary competition, we might as well win it. Getting Sarri his first major trophy and beating Arsenal on the way made it extra glorious, keeping the Gunners out of the Champions League altogether as a result made it extra amusing.

We’re not the only ones celebrating this triumph however, as it turns out. Over in France, fans of Olympique Lyonnais were celebrating just as wholeheartedly, including club president Jean-Michael Aulas, who went on Twitter afterwards to thank the Blues.

Bravo to Chelsea for this beautiful victory in the Europa League, [and] thanks to N’Golo [Kanté] and Olivier [Giroud] who gave us the happiness to participate in the group phase of the Champions League. Bravo and thanks to Bruno for this tremendous performance.

Lyon, under since-sacked coach Bruno Génésio, finished third in the league behind PSG and Lille, which meant that they would’ve had to participate in the qualifying round of the Champions League in the summer. But with Chelsea already qualified for the groups through our third place Premier League finish, OL get bumped up one spot and are thus into the group stages directly as well, taking the spot that was being held for Arsenal as winners of Europa. Except they didn’t win, so it’s not being held anymore. HA-HA!

Also benefitting from Chelsea’s victory are the runners-up from Turkey (Demba Ba’s İstanbul Başakşehir) and Austria (Linz ASK), both of whom get bumped up to the third qualifying round instead of the second, saving them from having to play two extra games this July.

Out-of-favour Chelsea star agrees terms with Euro giants, transfer fee still yet to be agreed between clubs

Chelsea and Spain star Marcos Alonso is said to have agreed a deal with Spanish giants Atletico Madrid ahead of a potential move to the club this summer.

Alonso quickly found himself out-of-favour at Stamford Bridge in the second half of this season, with the Spaniard losing his place in the Blues’ starting XI to Italian international Emerson Palmieri.

Alonso didn’t really future for Chelsea in the Europa League from the quarter finals onwards, with the 28-year-old even being left out of the Blues’ squad on more than one occasion for a number of their Premier League games.

And following this, it seems like Alonso has decided to call time on his stint with the Blues, as Marca are reporting that the Spanish star has agreed a deal with Atletico Madrid regarding a summer switch.

However, as Marca also report, Atletico still have to agree terms with Chelsea for Alonso, something that may prove to be difficult given the transfer ban that’s looming over the club’s head.

Alonso has agreed terms with Atletico over a summer move to the club

Should Chelsea fail to overturn their transfer ban, it wouldn’t seem wise to let Alonso leave this summer, especially given their lack of options at left back.

The club would only have Emerson Palmieri to choose from in that position should they let Alonso leave, thus we can’t really see the Blues letting the Spaniard depart Stamford Bridge unless the offer truly was too good to turn down.

Chelsea cult hero set for Premier League return after two-and-a-half years away

John Obi Mikel is set to return to the Premier League. This is not a drill.

Mikel is a cult hero at Stamford Bridge. He wasn’t the most talented of players, but he did his job efficiently. He was a true professional.

The time came for him to depart and play regular first-team football for the remainder of his career, but he lives on in the memory of the Chelsea faithful.

Something you’ll all be delighted to hear is that we could be going head-to-head with the Nigerian come next season. At least that’s what ESPN believe.

The report claims that Mikel has multiple offers to return to the Premier League, with the veteran weighing his options before making a final decision.

It’s excellent to see that there’s been life after Chelsea for him, because there wasn’t for many of the players he played alongside.

Let’s just hope his once-in-a-blue-moon goal doesn’t come at the Bridge!
